Anyone can use this page, with or without an account. Every request gets a case number and a reply by email.

Intimate images or videos shared without consent

If an image or video on MirrorChats shows you nude, partially nude or in a sexual way and you did not consent to it being here, or it was made or edited to look like you, tell us below. For a valid request we remove the content as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receiving it, and within that time make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies, as the TAKE IT DOWN Act requires. We confirm by email. You do not need a lawyer, a police report or an account. What a request must contain is in the NCII and Digital Forgery Removal Notice. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

How we handle requests

  • Receipt. You get a case number by email as soon as the request is in. Check its status above with the case number and the email you used.
  • Review by a person. Every request is read by a member of our team; the outcome is never based on automation alone. We check the queue daily; this is not an emergency service.
  • Deadlines. Intimate imagery: removed as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after a valid request, identical copies included. Reports of illegal content or content that breaks our rules: reviewed and resolved within 5 business days, with our decision and the appeal route. Other reports: we aim to answer within 7 calendar days. Urgent safety risks come first.
  • Outcome. You are told in writing what we did. If we do not act, we tell you why and how to appeal.
  • Appeals. You can appeal a removal, a restriction or a decision not to act on your report, free of charge, within 6 months, here or by email; a human reviewer answers with reasons. You keep the right to complain to a regulator or court in your country.
  • Misuse. Requests are logged. Knowingly false notices may carry legal consequences (for copyright notices, under 17 U.S.C. §512(f)).
