NCII and Digital Forgery Removal Notice

Last updated: October 6, 2026

AI Chat Media LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, operates MirrorChats at https://www.mirrorchats.com. This notice explains how to request removal of intimate images or videos made available without the depicted person’s consent, including digital forgeries.

To request removal, use https://www.mirrorchats.com/legal/takedown or email support@mirrorchats.com. No account, purchase, or lawyer is required. These channels remain available if your account is locked.

1. What this notice covers

Nonconsensual intimate imagery (“NCII”) under this notice includes images or videos showing an identifiable person nude, partially nude, or in a sexual way without that person’s consent to the content’s presence on MirrorChats. The person may be identifiable by their face, likeness, or another distinguishing feature. Consent to creating an image is not automatically consent to making it available here. Consent must be affirmative and voluntary, free from force, fraud, duress, misrepresentation, or coercion.

This includes images or videos created or altered to look like a real person, including qualifying AI-generated digital forgeries. An “AI-generated” label does not defeat a real person’s claim. Fully fictional content does not necessarily depict the person making a report, but you may still report a resemblance, impersonation, or other concern about your likeness for review.

Our removal commitment applies worldwide, regardless of account status, to qualifying material in private areas and publicly accessible material on MirrorChats. It covers generated media, platform-provided material, earlier uploaded avatars, and other material remaining from retired features. New user uploads, human messaging, public user sharing, and the creator program are currently disabled or retired.

The TAKE IT DOWN Act requires a notice-and-removal process for platforms and depictions within its legal scope, including qualifying digital forgeries. Our commitment also applies where it is broader than that statutory duty. You do not need to prove a criminal offense or own the copyright to request removal under this notice.

2. How to make a removal request

The depicted person or an authorized representative may submit a written request through the form or email above. Include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature, or your authorized representative’s signature. A typed name is accepted as an electronic signature.
  • Identification of the image or video and information reasonably sufficient to locate it on MirrorChats. A URL is helpful if available; for private material, give details such as the character, conversation, message, or approximate date and time.
  • A brief statement that you believe in good faith that the intimate imagery is nonconsensual, with relevant information explaining that it was made available here without the depicted person’s consent.
  • Contact information sufficient for us to respond to you or your authorized representative. A working email address is sufficient.

You can use: “I am the person depicted, or I am authorized to act for that person. I believe in good faith that the identified intimate image or video was made available on MirrorChats without that person’s consent. I request its removal.” Add the locating information, relevant context, contact details, and signature described above.

You do not need a public URL, police report, court order, or completion of another complaint process. You do not need to obtain someone else’s private content or identify every duplicate. An available report control can also bring a concern to our attention.

Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, unnecessary identity documents, or unrelated private information. Do not download, copy, forward, or attach suspected child sexual abuse material or other underlying unlawful media. Identify its location and describe the concern instead.

3. Removal deadlines and copies

For a valid request, we shall remove the reported image or video as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receipt. Within that period, we shall also make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies on MirrorChats. The 48 hours include weekends and holidays; the clock does not start at our next queue review.

Removal must address access through known MirrorChats references and delivery caches, as applicable, including assets in shared character media banks. Retaining a restricted evidence copy does not permit continued user access. A failed preservation step must not leave material accessible when restriction or removal is required.

If required information is genuinely missing, we shall explain what is needed and request only proportionate information without undue delay, while reviewing immediate safety concerns. We shall not reset or postpone an otherwise valid request to obtain unnecessary proof. We may restrict access during review; duties to act on known unlawful material apply independently of a complete formal request.

We shall review and resolve content complaints within five business days after receipt, including communicating our decision and appeal route. Appeals may continue after the initial complaint decision. That period does not extend the 48-hour deadline or any duty to act sooner. If our review reveals evidence that content is unlawful, we shall remove it immediately and notify our acquiring bank as required by applicable payment-network rules. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.

We cannot remove copies held independently on another service or someone’s device, or guarantee deletion of every provider copy. If you find a remaining MirrorChats copy or a new version, report its location through the same form or email, using the case reference if available. You need not have a reference to report it.

4. Receipts, status, and decisions

Public-form requests receive a case reference and an email receipt using the contact details supplied. Keep the reference. You can check status on the request page using the case number and email address used for the request, or email us for an update.

A person reviews reports and requests; the decision is not based solely on automation. We shall give you a written outcome, or explain why we did not act and how to appeal. We currently check the reports and flags queue daily. This is not continuous monitoring or an emergency response service, and daily review does not extend a removal deadline. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services without waiting for us.

5. Consent challenges and free appeals

A depicted person may challenge consent through the same channels. We shall review the concern promptly and remove the content immediately if appropriate consent cannot be established or is invalid under applicable law. If we disagree that consent is legally invalid, we shall allow that dispute to be resolved by a neutral body at our expense. That process does not delay required removal.

You may appeal a content or account decision, including a decision not to act on your report, free of charge within six months after we notify you. Use the public form or support@mirrorchats.com, including if you cannot sign in. Identify the decision, give the case reference if available, and explain the error or relevant new information.

A human reviewer will assess the appeal and provide a written outcome with reasons. We aim to respond within seven calendar days and shall handle appeals without undue delay, with urgent risks and legal deadlines taking priority. If we made a mistake, we shall correct it without undue delay. A necessary safety restriction may remain during review; an appeal does not require restoration of unlawful or nonconsensual material.

Copyright notices and counter-notices follow our separate Copyright and DMCA Policy. Those formalities and waiting periods do not apply to an NCII request. A copyright counter-notice does not require restoring material independently prohibited as nonconsensual, unlawful, or otherwise restricted under our rules.

6. Personal information and retained evidence

Review may require use of your contact details, statements, relevant content, and account records. We may disclose necessary information to authorized providers, advisers, authorities, or affected people where lawful and needed for the request, required reporting, or a legal matter. We shall limit disclosures to what is necessary and assess privacy and safety risks. Our Privacy Policy at https://www.mirrorchats.com/privacy explains processing, recipients, retention, and privacy rights.

We may retain lawful evidence privately for a justified reporting, preservation, or claims purpose, with access restricted to authorized people who need it. A hold must cover only the information and time necessary for its purpose. It does not permit continued user access to removed content or remove privacy rights concerning unrelated information. Account deletion does not remove every generated item, provider copy, or retained record. You can request removal of private or identifying generated media, or review of a hold, without regaining account access.

7. Other reports and external remedies

Anyone may report suspected exploitation, threats, impersonation, or another content concern through the same channels, including a person under 18. Reporting does not authorize use of adult features. Our Reporting, Removal, and Appeals Notice and Content Standards and Moderation Policy explain the broader processes. We assess the facts and make child-safety or other reports when required by law; an NCII complaint or automated flag alone does not establish a mandatory reporting duty.

You retain applicable rights to contact authorities or regulators, use an available out-of-court dispute process, or seek judicial or other lawful remedies without first exhausting our internal process. Where the EU Digital Services Act gives you access to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, that route remains available and we shall cooperate as that law requires. You may report a covered platform’s failure to follow the TAKE IT DOWN Act to the Federal Trade Commission at https://takeitdown.ftc.gov.

You must not knowingly fabricate a report, impersonate an affected person, or use these channels to harass someone or suppress lawful material. An honest mistake, seeking help, or disagreement with a decision is not report abuse.
